Life after the CertAfter so long..
Trying to resume this space..
Thoughts been floating, sufficing and disappearing..
They ran so fast, hard to halt.
My body worked to its limits, my mind never once stopped.
The web of worries, stress, drudgery..
Like lasers of entangled traps..
Silencing you once you hit them..
Left you with nothing but a breathless boundary.
Unable to break free..
For the past month,
I was being asked this question repeatedly..
"How's married life.."
As compared to "when are you getting married, when are you having babies.."
This is not a bad question that would get me irritated.
But still,
I did not know how to answer except for an "Okie".
Okie is a generic word that I abused whenever my brain works faster than my mouth.
The fact is..
I can write an essay that will bore you to death.
Married life is..not perfect.
Neither is it imperfect.
Since the beginning of all the wedding planning..
I always knew the Wedding is just the day itself..
I'm always more concerned with the journey..
That is Marriage.

So how is marriage life?
Marriage life is..
Stopping to think where my shampoo is, my conditioner, my shower foam every time I want to bathe..
I thought I have it all in the bathroom but I still forget something.
Going in and out of the bathroom just to take that something.
Bottles of facial essence, facial foam, lap top sleeve falling to the ground because I misjudged the table edge..
Absolutely not used being in an air conditioned room all day long, so I feel really happy and free when I get to run and sweat.
I no longer think of what to wear that much as compared to where my clothes are..
Happy when I'm back in Yishun, I miss my parents.
Having tried so hard to plan for a wedding day to make my parents not feel they are losing a daughter but gaining a son,
I am very peeved when people tell me 嫁出去的女儿没有做这个没有做那个的..
Telling me what can do what cannot do is definitely not acceptable to me.
Instinctively,
I turn into a very defensive mode when it comes to my parents.
I think of people's well being all the time..
What I grow up with, what I believe..
Mutual respect is fundamental.
I just hope no one tries to change me.
*****
After one Sunday,
He's no longer my bf.
Sometimes when I tell people about him, I still unknowingly refer him as my bf..
So feeling a tad weird whenever Jeff calls me wifey
But at the same time I do like it :)
I really appreciate it when the usually lazy him took the time off to clean up the room..
Hung up the mirror, bought one 700 thread count bed sheets set..
Cleared out more than half of his wardrobe just for my clothes..
Woke up quietly to shut Xeena up in the middle of the night so that I could get more sleep..
Find all ways and means to find white light for the room when I complained that the room is too dim..
He made me feel home even though I'm away from my parents :)
Aint a honeymoon forever..
We will constantly build on mutual respect and commitment..
Life goes on..
